Fundamentals of Apparel Design
Gain a deep understanding of design principles, industry terminology, and creative workflows.
Introduction to Design Software
Learn to create digital artwork using industry-standard tools such as:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Corel Draw
- Canva
- Stitch Era Embroidery Software
Vinyl Cutting & Application
Master safety procedures, design workflows, and garment applications using assorted vinyl finishes (matte, gloss, flock, glow-in-the-dark, puff, etc.).
Embroidery Techniques
Learn to digitize designs, thread machines, and execute precise embroidery on various materials, including hats, jackets, shirts, and sneakers.
Screen Printing
Develop skills in ink application, screen preparation, and garment printing techniques for professional-quality apparel.
Sublimation Printing
Explore the process of transferring high-quality designs onto fabrics, mugs, glassware, and other materials.
Course Description
Our Fashion & Design Course is designed to immerse students in the apparel design industry, providing technical skills and creative direction. This 6-12 week training program includes:
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard machines such as vinyl cutters, embroidery machines, sublimation printers, and heat presses.
- Creative workflow training, covering design principles, material sourcing, and production techniques.
- Practical application of fashion technology in custom garment creation, branding, and merchandising.
Students will work on real-world projects, refining their skills and building a portfolio that showcases their unique style and expertise.
