Q: What if I don’t feel comfortable giving actual shares?
A: That’s fine — the platform can liquidate the shares and deliver net proceeds to Digi2U, so you don’t have to manage sale logistics.
Q: Will I know when the gift is completed and get a receipt?
A: Yes. You’ll receive confirmation when the shares arrive and a tax receipt for your donation. Digi2U will also send a thank-you letter.
Q: What if Digi2U doesn’t accept stock directly?
A: No problem. The platform processes the donation on behalf of Digi2U and converts the asset so Digi2U receives cash.
Q: How much should I donate?
A: There’s no minimum. But many stock gifts are substantially larger than typical cash gifts — even modest appreciated holdings can turn into meaningful funding.
