ABOUT DIGI2U
Digi2U brings together technology, media, creative production and hands-on learning to help people build practical skills for a changing economy.
Our focus is simple: give people access to the tools, knowledge and real-world experience that can open doors to work, business and creative opportunity.
OUR STORY
We came together to build what we wanted to see in our communities.
Digi2U grew from a collaborative group of technologists, media professionals, makers, educators, entrepreneurs and community members who believed more people should have access to the tools shaping the future.
We brought what we had, experience, equipment, production skills, technology, community relationships and time, and began building hands-on learning experiences where people could learn by doing.
Participants didn’t just sit in classrooms. They built 3D printers, created prototypes, produced media, worked on live events, developed documentaries and learned alongside people already doing the work.
That experience became the foundation for Digi2U.
Today, we are building on that foundation with curriculum, equipment, community spaces, mobile capabilities, partnerships and digital resources that can support future training and community initiatives.
As funding and partnerships grow, Digi2U is positioned to deploy and expand hands-on programs in technology, media and the creative industries based on the needs of the communities we serve.

Our model is designed to be flexible.
Programs and resources can be delivered through community locations, partner organizations, mobile units and virtual environments, allowing us to adapt the model to different communities rather than expecting every community to fit the same program.
Our primary community networks are developing in Northeast New Jersey and Southwest Metro Atlanta, supported by collaborations with nonprofits, businesses, educators, government, artists, technicians and other community partners.
The goal is not simply to teach technology.
It is to create environments where people can learn, make, produce, collaborate and build something of their own.
